Story behind the song
This was an acoustic song, that I updated for the CD/Beautiful Dust... it's a story of how God takes us - stained with sin and iniquity: "dirty dust" & changes us into "beautiful dust" through his grace and mercy!
Lyrics
THE FOOL The fool has said there is no god I don't believe in something I can't see Can't see him, so he cannot be real I can't see him, so I will not believe He believes in luck, watch him throw the dice Believes in chance, hope things turn out all right Believes in magic, the power of the stars Hey mister - who do you think you are? Says we came from a long line of apes Yeah evolution we're changing more each day From a lizard, to a monkey - finally to a man Hey mister, do you really believe that scam? Says the world is a cosmic accident With a big bang it all turned into this Well please excuse me but I hate to disagree Hey mister will you answer me? Who made the air that all men breathe Who made the ground underneath our feet Who made the animals, the flowers, and the trees Well hey mister - who made you and me? Who made the wind that blows so free Who made the oceans, the rivers and the seas Who made the mountains, can you solve this mystery Hey mister - can you answer me?
