I'm a fifty nine year old musician. I play guitar, harmonica, and I sing.
My music, I hope, will not die when I die. I'm trying to create a legacy that my kids can listen to as well as other people should they want to. I'm getting pretty old, and my health is not good. But yeah. That about sums up my music thing. That looks more like an obituary. My brother Jimmy got me playing as a teenager, and he went to be with the Lord, as well as my brother Steve, but my love for music has not ceased. Not at all.

Story behind the song
I wrote the song when I was 19. I had been at friends with a girl in high school, that I had deep feelings for, but she didn't share these feelings. I was barking up the wrong tree. We sort of remained friends. I had stop playing this song for a couple years, and my brother Bing asked me to play it. It had been so long I had to agree figure it out before I could play it.
Lyrics
The weeds are growing wildly And there are little bugs crawling over me, but I don't care, no no It was good to hear your voice, though the words you said I didn't wanna hear It was good to hear your voice, though the world you sent to me made me cry. The weeds are growing wildly And seagulls will always be free, yeah yeah It was good to hear your voice, that voice I'll never hear again And now I've got no choice but to pretend you never were my friend. The weeds are growing wildly And I think of things we used to see that no-one else could see. The flowers are growing slowly now And I'm looking out over the snowy hills, yeah yeah It was good to hear your voice, that voice I'll never hear again You didn't make me be a fool and I'm all-right now that I have flown.
