Story behind the song
The LIGHTHOUSE (HouseMix) is a new fresh remix of the first release from the LIGHTHOUSE cd NEW 7 song compilation!
LIGHTHOUSE is symbolic or likened unto a building, a person and/or group of people who are conduit hosts of the presence of the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus. LIGHTHOUSES are not limited to a certain type of building, nor is a LIGHTHOUSE limited to a person of a certain Nationality, race, creed, or color. The Light of the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus can and will abode in whomsoever and where ever He chooses His will to be done through. See what GOD/YHWH Himself said about it according to Acts 2:17-18 and Joel 2:28-29.
According to John 8:12, Jesus refers to Himself as The Light of the World: John 8:12, "...Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am The Light of the World. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have The Light of Life."
Jesus is The Light of the World. So when He abides inside of a person and/or place, He uses them as a conduit for His Light to shine through and draw souls into His Kingdom. It is written according to John 6:44(NLT), Jesus said, "...For no one can come to Me unless The Father who sent Me draws them to Me..."
So, when the Spirit of Jesus Christ, that dwells inside of us, by the Power of Holy Ghost, draws souls into The Kingdom to become converted and, in turn, become discipled so that they too can become likened unto the Lights of Christ Jesus, the work of the harvesting of souls will get done. And the work will continue until the fulness of the Gentiles come in, as according to Romans 11:25, then the 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 will take place.
Lighthouses, according to Matthew 5:13-16, "...are the salt of the Earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the World. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your FATHER in Heaven."
