The Windupdeads is a new Swedish rock band formed in 2007 and we will probably take over the world quite soon. To wind up dead is just a rewrite of the word die. In the early 13th century, the average european man lived to the age of 34, women generally died at the tender age of 29. Today males have increased that length to almost 80. Science has done us a lot of good. Women nowadays live even longer, 82 in fact. Some may wonder when women passed men. Others not. Theories vary, there a just as many answers as there is questions. This site however will not, and has no intention to, provide an acceptable opinion. Keep in mind that the numbers mentioned are not completely compareable. The numbers concerning the 13th century includes humans dying younger than 15, the modern numbers do not.
