Story behind the song
Another Breakup song- actually about the same girlfriend as in "A Little Bit" ... Breaking up is good inspiration to write songs! This song is kind of me convincing myself what I needed to do to get over the relationship, and my amazement of how people's feelings (Mine included) can change like the weather. I had the music around way before I even met the girl, and the lyrics just didn't seem to want to come out....until we broke up, and then they came pretty quickly.I couldn't seem to get the music recorded satisfactorily, or figure out how to sing it for a really long time(The song was actually written in 1992.)Finally I dropped the key a half step and started to get the guitar sound I was looking for to catch the detail in the playing.Then it all came together.
