Just me and various friends.
Some of the songs posted here are multi-track or looped recordings that I did alone, others are with bands and friends with whom I've been fortunate enough to play over the years.

Story behind the song
Jake takes us into a funky James Brown inspired jam - a style I had never played on a song that was apparently being more or less made up as we went along. My guitar is the one closer to the recorder mics (and therefore louder in this mix, but not so at the gig). The song was around ten minutes total. In the middle of this excerpt, Jake and the band stop playing and leave me to try to hold down the song. As I looked back at the band and pleaded for them to rejoin, Gin (drums) and Mike (bass) both folded their arms, conspiring in some sort of improv initiation ritual and refused to execute a rescue for what seemed like days.
